Hello everyone out there keeping their social distance.  By now you’ve heard our Governor’s mandate that we have no gatherings greater than ten people.  For us this means there will be NO congregants at Sunday’s service.  We will have only the choir (reduced to seven including leader), pianist, minister and elder/children’s chat (shared).  So, please plan on attending our service on Facebook Live or on the telephone (see below).  And please pass this along to others who may not be getting Facebook and email alerts.

For audio only with your telephone you should call 720-902-7700 and use 550 729 6625 as the meeting code when prompted (You’ll be asked to enter “#” at the end of the code).  Please mute your phone to not disturb other callers.  And please call in about 10:25 a.m. so that all callers are ready to listen when the service begins. (There is a beep when you enter the meeting and we want those all completed by 10:30 a.m.)

Everyone, if you know others who don’t have Facebook and would want to listen, please pass this information to them.

With the Blessing of Our Lord,

Your church elders

We are a multi-generational family of faith worshiping our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ in the heart of historic downtown Bastrop, TX (aka the most historic small town in Texas). We love our city and the role that our congregation has played throughout it's history. We are proud of our past and excited for our present and future of continuing the legacy of inviting all people to gather at the Banqueting Table of Christ.

Historically, our congregation has had its roots in the Disciples of Christ, the oldest protestant denomination founded on American soil. (Learn more)

The founders of our movement coined the phrase: "We are Christians only, but not the only Christians." Bastrop Christian Church is a faith family made up of people who come from just about every denominational background. But when we come together and gather at the Lord's Table, we are one in Christ.

"We are Disciples of Christ, a movement for wholeness in a fragmented world. As part of the one body of Christ we welcome all to the Lord’s Table as God has welcomed us.”
